A Very Unique Ball Return
Pool Table / Billiard Table
This table is very rare. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work on a table with this kind of history. It was a chance in a lifetime. This unique table had pockets that would deposit the balls into cast brass faces that would open. The table is all hand-carved and features brass leg levelers under each leg.It also has inserts that can be put into the pockets to convert it to a billiard table.
The slate seams meet at the center pockets. Not much to look at in this stage of assembly.

Here are the cast brass faces that pop open when a ball falls into a pocket.
This is the score keeper on the rail located on each side pocket.
This is the room in which the table resided in Italy. It had matching furniture which included spectator chairs, before WWII. The piano and the pool table were the only things too big to loot during the war.
This is the manufacturer’s logo, which was branded on the frame of the pool table.
